Then drive back to Latpanchar for another phase of birding. Latpanchar nursery area is also another famous birding spot in this area. The area is known to be home to Long-tailed Broadbill, a bird on the wishlist of many birders. You may spot a Hornbill here too. After Latpanchar head for Ahaldara. Ahaldara is also known as Tagore Hill. See the surrounding hills of Sittong area and the Teesta River from Ahaldara. The blue sky remain on the backdrop of the green hills makes it a sight to soothe the eyes. Next stop is at Namthing Pokhri. Namthing Pokhri is one of those Himalayans lakes where the rare Himalayan Newt breeds. Himalayan Newt is an amphibian that came to the earth even before the dinosaurs. Over night stay at Sittong.
